Your future, our heritage

At Legal & General Investment Management Limited (LGIM), we believe in investing for a better future, and through the engagement activities of our Investment Stewardship Team we believe we have a proven track record of doing so.

Our brand has been trusted by clients for over 180 years, with a heritage dating back to 1836, when Legal & General’s insurance business was established in London.

Founded on a culture of partnership with our clients, LGIM has been managing global assets for nearly half a century, and was incorporated in 1987. As the UK’s largest pension fund manager, we’ve built on our success in the UK, bringing our expertise to international markets, including the Middle East, Europe, the US and Asia. Today, we manage $1,476 billion in assets; making us one of Europe’s largest asset managers and a major global investor.

We aim to ensure that both our investment solutions and client service are tailored to meet clients’ specific needs. So we’re proud to build meaningful relationships that stand the test of time.

Investing for a better future. It’s in our heritage.
